From Our Founder

“Education that does not touch the Heart, Mind and Soul of Man is a story.”

Prof. Dr. Erkan KIRAL

As the Association for Excellence in Education, we believe that every individual has a responsibility in solving problems and that we can take steps together to reach solutions. The Association for Excellence in Education continues its activities with an innovative perspective, with the goal of establishing organizational structures in all 81 provinces and districts of our beautiful country.

"Excellence in Education" is not just a name that excites me, but also everyone who believes in it and takes part in the team. Because when individuals who already have a strong influence come together, they create synergy, strengthen each other, and make the Association for Excellence in Education ambitious and powerful.

Nothing is as it seems — and excellence is one of those concepts. Many people find excellence intimidating, but if they were to discover its positive side, they honestly wouldn't want to let it go. I discovered it; it became my passion and transformed my entire life. It has touched the lives of many others who, like me, have discovered it. This concept has a kind of magical quality. I've discovered it — and now it's waiting to be discovered by you. Shall we go on a little journey to understand this concept better?

Human beings have always been in pursuit of something better. Their desire and search for the best has never ceased. In fact, this quest for the best is humanity’s journey toward excellence. This desire and pursuit of excellence exists within all of us. Haven’t we all been striving for the best for years? Let’s take a look at ourselves — we crawl, we walk, we run, we swim, we fly. All of these are results of our journey to reach the best.

In order for the world to become a more livable place, our educational institutions — which raise new leaders — need administrators and teachers who demonstrate excellent leadership behaviors and can serve as role models to these new leaders. Indeed, schools — which are the primary educational institutions tasked with the political function of raising future leaders — are expected to display excellent leadership in education through their administrators and teachers.

The proper management of schools, which are among the leading institutions that cultivate the intellectual capital driving the economy, is a top expectation from both the demand and supply sides of education. And we say: we exist to educate the administrators and teachers who will fulfill these expectations.
